Screening

After you submit your application and the vacancy has closed, the recruiting manager will review and score your application. We take time to review every application, comparing your skills and experience against the requirements of the role you have applied for. If you meet these criteria, we will contact you to let you know if you’ve been shortlisted for an interview and the format of that interview.

UKEMS believes you are more than your CV, education, or academic grades. In many cases, a theoretical curriculum is not a perfect indicator of a person’s potential in a role. We focus on practical work experience, skills, and your potential to grow. Grades can still be a positive indicator, but they are secondary in importance relative to those other aspects.

At UKEMS, you’ll find we hire solely on merit and commercial need. Our organisation relies on people with a range of skills, backgrounds, and experiences working collaboratively to meet our rapidly changing needs.
