Working on behalf of private healthcare organisations, public sector organisations including the NHS and private individuals. UKEMS team are fully qualified and competent to the highest standards and are trained in line with the NHS Core Skills Training Framework, with a comprehensive knowledge of Emergency Aid and Care Skills.

At UKEMS we offer non-emergency patient transport service and work in both private and public health sectors, with knowledgeable, uniformed staff, and using vehicles that are configured to carry stretchers, wheelchairs, and walking passengers. Our patient transport service leads with safety and comfort at the forefront. You can rest assured that the patient will be in the safest and most efficient of hands, with the perfect combination of highly qualified and friendly staff as well as safe, welcoming, and high-quality vehicles. UKEMS works with a number of Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS Trusts to provide contract non-emergency patient transport for patients attending hospital or clinic appointments. Our service can be fully customised to suit the local area’s needs as we believe requirements differ between regions, such as geographical area, hours of service, and patient groups.

UKEMS have been providing Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) for more than fifteen years and is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). UKEMS NEPTS provision ranges from aiding patients with limited mobility or those travelling in their own wheelchairs. At UKEMS we take great pride in providing transport for adults and children who would otherwise be unable to attend their healthcare appointments. High-quality, relevant and ongoing training, ensures that all our Ambulance Care Assistants and Emergency Care Assistants are among the most competent and professional in the industry. We are incredibly proud that at our last Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection, the CQC rated UKEMS as ‘Good’ Overall.
